BEIJING, Nov. 14 (InfoChina) -- The Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) has further increased its stake in China Telecom Ltd. (HKSE: 0728, NYSE: CHA) to 9 percent through purchase on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, according to the statistics release by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on November 13.

BEIJING, Nov. 14 (InfoChina) – DBS has raised its target prices for the H-shares of China Telecom Ltd. (NYSE: CHA) and China Netcom Ltd. (NYSE: CN) from 3 HK dollars to 3.85 HK dollars and from 15.5 HK dollars to 17 HK dollars respectively, on the ground of bright prospects for the 3G market in the Chinese mainland.

HONG KONG, Nov. 13 (InfoChina) – CDC Corporation (Nasdaq: CHINA) announced on Nov.12 that it has signed agreements with 12 qualified institutional investors on a combined private placement of 1.307 billion HK dollars (about 168 million US dollars) for business expansion and acquisitions.

BEIJING, Nov.6 (InfoChina) – International investment bank UBS said that due to crude oil price lingering at 60 US dollars per barrel in 4Q, Sinopec (NYSE:SNP) is expected to profit 15.3 billion yuan, higher than the 13.1 billion yuan for the third quarter.
