BMW to recall 2,662 problem cars |

BEIJING, July 14 (InfoChina) – Because of certain connection problems in the accessories of rear shock absorbers, BMW and Brilliance-BMW, the joint venture between BMW and Brilliance China Automotive Holdings (NYSE: CBA, HK: 1114), will recall 2,662 cars in the Chinese mainland, according to Economic Information Daily.
The cars to be involved include 2,131 imported ones produced by BMW itself and 531 ones made by the joint venture. They were produced during January 9-April 26, 2006, covering BMW 7, 6, 5 series. The two companies have submitted an application to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine to recall the cars. |
