BEIJING, September 7 (InfoChina) - Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC, NYSE: SMI, HK: 0981) and VeriSilicon Holdings Co., Ltd. (VeriSilicon) jointly released the VeriSilicon's Standard Design Platform (SDP) for SMIC’s 0.13um Low Leakage process on September 6.
The platform will significantly reduce chip power consumption for optimal use in battery powered applications, such as handheld devices. VeriSilicon is a leading ASIC design foundry, semiconductor library and IP provider in the world. |
