BEIJING, January 12 (CEIS) large-volume agricultural products will continue to be exempted from railway construction fund, said an official with Chinas Ministry of Railways recently.

BEIJING, January 12 (CEIS) large-volume agricultural products will continue to be exempted from railway construction fund, said an official with Chinas Ministry of Railways recently.
The official said the period of exemption will be prolonged with no set date.
The products, including soy, soybean meal, corn and cotton, are major commodities traded in Chinas futures market.
Aiming at reducing the transportation cost and prompt circulation, the exemption of railway construction fund for large amount agricultural products started in 2002 and was set with a valid period till 2005.
