China Eastern to intensify feeder line transport capacity |

BEIJING, Nov. 27 (InfoChina) – China Eastern Airlines (NYSE:CEA, HK: 0670)’s Wuhan branch recently announced to purchase five 50-seat ERJ145 aircraft from Harbin Embraer Aircraft Industry Co. Ltd, a joint venture co-established in northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province by Embraer, the world’s fourth largest aircraft manufacturer and China Aviation Industry CorporationⅡ.
The five aircraft will serve the routes from Wuhan to Chongqing, Wenzhou, Harbin, Qingdao, etc. It is learned that the ordered five aircraft will be delivered between December 10 this year and June next year. The purchase of 50-seats aircraft is to strengthen the capacity of China Eastern in running the feeder line business. |
