Brilliance Auto to launch Zunchi 1.8T early next year

BEIJING, Nov. 12 (InfoChina) – Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: CBA) is to launch a new model of its Zunchi sedan, Zunchi 1.8T on the domestic market at the beginning of next year.
Zunchi 1.8T made its debut during the Auto China 2006 held in Beijing in November. Now Brilliance Auto is training its dealers and after-sale agents for distribution of the car.
It is learned that the Zunchi 1.8T will have three specifications, namely a hand-operated comfort type, a hand-operated luxury type and an automatic luxury type.
The new Zunchi car, which is predicted to be priced at some 150,000 yuan, will be equipped with the 1.8T turbo engine self-developed by Brilliance Auto in June this year. The inside decoration of the car is upgraded as well.
The launching of the Zunchi 1.8T is expected to be a new selling point for the company. (Edited by Sun Huanjie,
