Vimicro wins award from FSA for good financial performance

BEIJING, Dec. 14 (InfoChina) – Vimicro Corporation (Nasdaq:VIMC), a leading IC design company recently won the “Outstanding Financial Performance by a Public Fabless Company Award” from the Fabless Semiconductor Association (FSA).
Vimicro won the award for its outstanding financial performance over the past eight consecutive quarters ending on June 30.
It is learned that the company has been profitable for the past 14 consecutive quarters.
Vimicro is the first Nasdaq-listed IC company and also the first Chinese company to achieve such prestigious industry award.
FSA is an international trade organization with hundreds of corporate members representing a broad cross-section of the fabless industry, including fabless companies, their supply chains and service partners.
