BEIJING, Feb. 27 (InfoChina) – Three happy events rejoiced Yuchai Group, the parent company of China International Yuchai Co., Ltd (NYSE: CYD), in January.
By January 28, Yuchai had produced and sold 100,000 diesel engines this year.
In the meanwhile, several subsidiaries of Yuchai started to be constructed or came on stream.
Yan Ping, board chairman of Yuchai, obtained nomination of China’s 2006 CCTV Economic Figures, China’s academic awards in the field of economic circle.
As introduced by Yuchai, of over 7,000 large buses with GB-III engine running in China, more than 6,000 are driven by Yuchai-made engines; in addition, all of the 1,000-odd GB-III buses running in Beijing are equipped with Yuchai’s engines. (Edited by Lin Fanjing,
