BEIJING, March 8 (InfoChina) – Brilliance Auto Group, parent company of Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: CBA, HK: 1114), is negotiating with American agents on establishing a sales network in the US that is similar with that in Europe.

Brilliance aims to export its Zhonghua serial cars to the US through the network in the future.

If negations were carried out successfully, Brilliance Auto is very likely to become the first Chinese auto manufacturers to export automobiles of self-owned brand to the American market.

Brilliance Auto landed on the European market in last November, by singing a five-year export contract with HSO, a subsidiary of well-known German automobile logistics company E.H. Harms, on exporting 158,000 Zunchi cars to Europe in the next five years, priced at 19,000-23,000 Euros.

Brilliance Auto is also predicted to launch another five models of automobiles to Europe by 2010. According to the company, automobiles exported are expected to amount to 20 percent of its total output by 2010. (Edited by Sun Huanjie, )
