BEIJING, March 14 (InfoChina) – The project concerning development and key technology for electric-driven diesel motors for cars undertaken by Yuchai Group, parent company of China Yuchai International Ltd (NYSE: CYD), recently passed an appraisal done by a team of experts organized by Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology, indicating the feasibility for bulk production of such motors.

            The diesel motors involved in the project match with six domestic vehicle models such as FAW’s Vela and Changan’s SC6350B.

            The motor is also expected to match almost all mainstream mini and economic cars running on roads.

            The appraisal showed that Yuchai’s diesel motor was able to improve sedan’s dynamic power and save much energy.
