BEIJING, July 2 (InfoChina) – Peter Blackmore, former vice president of global information technology service and solution provider Unisys, entered UTStarcom Inc. (Nasdaq: UTSI) on July 2 as the CEO of the company, according to China Business News.
Peter Blackmore will directly report to Lu Hongliang, current president and CEO of the company.
He will take charge of the network solution department, international sales, market and marketing, global supply chain, and IT and quality services. Lu once said Peter Blackmore will replace him to become the CEO after taking over UTStarcom’s businesses. The take-over will be conducted under the supervision of the directorate next year and be completed within one year.
Lu Hongliang will become the executive board chairman of the company’s directorate in the take-over period, focusing on UTStarcom’s enterprise strategy, technologies and customer relation.
