Shanda launches three programs to attract online games

Beijing, July 12 (InfoChina) –Shanda Interactive Entertainment Limited (Nasdaq: SNDA) has launched three programs to appeal to online game companies, according to Chen Tianqiao, CEO of Shanda, at China International Digital Entertainment Forum on July 11.
The three programs include “Fengyun program”, “20 program” and “18 program”.
According to the “Fengyun program”, Shanda will provide two billion yuan to purchase excellent online game companies with great potential.
The “20 program” means the ceiling profit that Shanda would offer to online game teams could reach 20 percent, said Chen, hoping to attract more top talents.
Besides, the “18 program” will grant pioneers who intend to start their own business an opportunity to expound their ideas in front of senior managers of Shanda on the date of 18 every month. If their ideas are believed valuable, Shanda will invest. (Edited by Yang Liu,
