BEIJING, July 17 (InfoChina) – As construction of a second production base was kicked off recently in Mianyang of Sichuan Province in southwest China, the “double-base” development pattern of Brilliance Auto, parent company of Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd (NYSE: CBA), is taking shape.
Brilliance Auto’s first production base is located in Shenyang city, northeast china.
The Mianyang base is responsible for Brilliance’s Huarui car project, which has designed annual capacity of 150,000 units after full completion in 2010.
The Mianyang base will also be an important export base of the company, mainly to export its Haise mini-buses to Southeast Asian markets. (Edited by Lin Fanjing,
