Sohu cooperates with CCTV on Internet video service

SHANGHAI, July 18 (InfoChina) - Sohu.com Inc. (Nasdaq: SOHU) and CCTV.com reached a strategic agreement on July 17, under which netizens are able to instantly order more than 100 programs of CCTV’s 13 channels through the newly-released platform of Sohu 3.0.
Moreover, Sohu and CCTV will share resources such as brand, content and ad operation.
It is learned that Sohu will pay for copyrights and the agreement with the term of one year is nonexclusive. (Edited by Yang Liu,
