China Netcom launches products tailor-made for Olympics 2008

BEIJING, August 8 (InfoChina) - China Netcom (NYSE: CN, HK: 0906), the country's major fixed-line telecommunications operator, put a series of new products and services tailor-made for Olympics 2008 onto market exactly one year before the Games is actually held in Beijing.
The products include the multi-language call center, base on “114” platform, “easy access to broadband”, and discounted international phone cards for calls to designated countries/regions.
