BEIJING, Aug. 29 (InfoChina) – “China Telecom will announce to return to the domestic A-share market as long as the company gets a mobile service operation license,” said Wang Xiaochu, chairman and CEO of China Telecom (NYSE: CHA) at press release on August 28.

Wang showed that any new growth points, such as 3G business, mobile operation license and IPTV, would make China Telecom consider the return to the A-share market.

Chinese government has final say in issuing 3G licenses or restructuring the telecom industry.

China Telecom has sound cash flow in the January-June 2007 period, up 2.3 percent over a year earlier to 19.356 billion yuan by June end. (Edited by Lin Fanjing, )
