China Eastern’s proposed tie-up with SIA to fruit in Sep.

BEIJING, Aug. 30 (InfoChina) – China Eastern Airlines (NYSE: CEA, HK: 0670, SH: 600115) in its report on interim results 2007 said that the airline would be able to unveil the plan to let in Singapore Airline as strategic partner in September, and its A-share trading, which has been suspended since May 22 for this matter, will be resumed.Earlier, China Easter ever revealed that it would hold a news conference on September 2 on its proposed tie-up with SIA, but did not confirm whether the stake sale to SIA had been approved by Chinese regulatory authorities.
