BEIJJNG, Sept. 11 (InfoChina) – Sohu.com Inc. (Nasdaq: SOHU), the Internet content services sponsor for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, has unveiled its scheme for reporting on the upcoming Olympics.

It said it would send a news staff of 703 persons to cover the event.

Sohu said it has advantages in reporting the 2008 Olympic Games, as it is the Internet content services sponsor and exclusive operator of the official website of the Beijing Olympics.

By far, the portal has entered reporting alliance with such media as CCTV, Beijing TV and some 12 other television stations, 35 key newspapers, and nearly 80 Chinese radio stations.

In addition, Sohu is by far the only authorized Internet portal on which partners and sponsors of the Beijing Olympics can advertise with Olympics Logo, according to Chen Luming, vice president of Sohu and general manager of Sohu’s Olympics Department. (Edited by Chen Dongyi, )
