BEIJING, Sept.14 (InfoChina) - Brilliance Auto, parent company of Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: CBA, HK: 1114), made global launch of its two-door Junjie car on the 62nd International Motor Show in Frankfurt opened on Sept.13.
China Business News reported that after Brilliance Auto’s Zunchi car got poor score in a crash test done in June by ADAC of Germany, the company now is aiming to restart the marching step into the European market by joining hands with local dealer HSO.
He Guohua, vice president of Brilliance Auto noted that currently the company has more than 30 dealers in Europe, which is expected to increase to 80 in the future. He disclosed that the first batch of 2,000 Zunchi cars exported to Europe have been sold by over a half and Junjie car will also start sale in the European market soon.
He noted that Brilliance Auto’s Zunchi car got 21 scores in the crash test recently done by IDIADA of Spain, which has reached the three-star standard of European auto safety test.
He said that the newly launched two-door Junjie car will come into the European market this year and the three-door Junjie car that already achieved good sales domestically will be sold in the European market next year. (Edited by Sun Huanjie,
