BEIJING, Oct. 31 (InfoChina) – China’ leading fabless semiconductor producer Actions Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (ACTS. Nasdaq) Wednesday promoted Patricia Chou, formerly Vice President (VP) of Finance, as its chief financial officer (CFO) to head its financial team.

Chou has served as VP of Finance since joining Actions in November 2006. As VP of Finance at Actions, Chou oversaw a finance team that remotely managed seven operation sites and executed major corporate finance projects.

Prior to that, Chou served as the Director of Business Development and then Senior Director of Accounting at Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) (SMI. NYSE, 98.1HK), where she was responsible for establishing a U.S. presence, developing new business initiatives, and leading the company's global accounting functions.

Nan-Horng Yeh, CEO of Actions Semiconductor, believes Chou will be a strong addition to the company’s executive team.

The former CFO David Lee has assumed the role of chairman of the board as part of the company's succession plan, besides, the Board appointed Nan-Horng Yeh and Fred Chen as directors. (Edited by Zhu Zhu, )
