BEIJING, Nov. 30 (InfoChina) – Baidu (BIDU.NASDAQ) had a lion’s share of some 80 percent among the newly increased searching requests in Q3, according to a recent survey conducted by iResearch Inc, cited by CCIDnet.com.
The web searching requests amounted to 25.88 billion in the quarter ended September 30, up 5.3 million on quarter, including 4.22 million conducted via Baidu.com.
Analysts forecast that Baidu’s market share could probably exceed 80 percent in 2008, as the leading search engine in China keeps gaining the incremental market share and nibbling its competitors’ share. (Edited by Wei Wei,
