BEIJING, Jan. 3 (InfoChina) – Jiang Jieming, general manager of CNPC, said that the company will step into fast oil/gas growth period in the coming five to eight years, 2008 included.
To ensure steady increase of the company’s oil/gas production, the group will widely start secondary development in their oilfields via new technologies, said Jiang.
Besides domestic oil/gas growth, the company will speed up assets acquisition overseas. Until now, the group has launched 69 cooperation projects in 26 foreign countries, he said.
CNPC is the parent company of listed PetroChina (601857.SH; 0857.HK; PTR.NYSE).
